I have been playing cello for about 10 years, ranging from individual performances, school orchestra, and even volunteering and tutoring opportunities. Below are videos of such performances, as well as some of my accolades:
Certificate of Merit - Completion of all 9 levels
CM State Honors: 2022, 2023
First Chair Cello, Oxford Academy Chamber Strings + Symphony Orchestra (highest level among 4 school groups)
The Swan - Camille Saint-Saëns
I first performed this piece for my level 8 CM test, and it's quickly become one of my favorite pieces to play and listen to. I especially love Yo-Yo Ma's rendition!
Joy to the World Medley - George Handel
It's tradition at Remedy Thru Music for students to play a couple solo pieces every performance. This was my solo during Christmas of 2024.
The Idylls of Pegasus - Richard Meyer (Cello Solo)
I played the solo intro to this piece during the Fall Concert of my Senior Year. It was one of my favorite performances to date!
